Failure
BY a long shot I think my biggest miss was the research paper. Not only was feedback lowkey confusing but the writing center was no help. I felt like I was writing for nothing. It was a confusing writing process and I would get conflicting feedback from different people who tried to help me. I had no hits this year because everything I turned in flopped. I don't really care but it was aggravating because everything I turned in I felt was a failure. I would ask for help and get told it was fine and then get a grade that didn't reflect that. I really gave up.
This year in English I have never felt more drained in my entire life and I am ready for this year to end. Every assignment made me feel like I was dying. I am ready to quit. I felt that every paper I wrote got worse and worse and they became increasingly more pointless as I went along. The ENd.

RIP
2. If you are in a position of power, you are happy.
3. Everyone is capable of lying, betrayal, and violence, which are basic parts of human nature
2. Being in power does not make you a happy person. It isn't impossible to be happy in a position of power, but being in a position of power doesn't guarantee happiness. Some of the responsibilities that ensue with being in a position of power can be very stressful and cause problems with mental health. If anyone is in charge of anything and there is pressure to be successful it can turn out to be very taxing. Many people in a position of power don't understand the eventual responsibility.
3. Lying, betrayal, and violence is something everyone is capable of if put in the right circumstance. It is part of survival instinct to protect ourselves from harm. Maybe we don't see everyone being violent and lying, but anyone is capable of acquiring traits assimilated with lying, betrayal and violence. When threatened fight or flight adrenaline helps us to survive. If everyone constantly told the truth what would happen?

Strats
I think I have strategies for reading I just cannot define them. I just read the book. I pretty sure if someone else were to evaluate it they would find some sort of pattern, but I am not aware of it. Also I apologize for no contractions, I found it very tiresome to keep locating the apostrophe because my pinky keeps missing and it is quite an ordeal (FPW's are not real I know, it is just more of a nuisance). Anywho, I do not find myself using a certain strategy, and at the same time I am not making any profound comments about the book...maybe they are connected.
Maybe by seeing the strategies others use I will be inspired to use one that is successful. I do not know why I never used something to get through a difficult book. It depends on the book how I approach it- whether I brace for a faceful of metaphors or take it for face value.

Bagel Infernos, Medium Rare Chicken and Stearoyl Lactalyte
Do you cook? Most definitely. I cook everything all the time. I love to do it, and anyone involved socially will hear all about that dough I made the night previous. I think cooking is extremely important. I think some people were made to cook. I mean, anyone CAN. If you're literate you can follow a series of steps to success. It's different for me though because I can look at a table of ingredients and plan everything, and even taste it. Cooking I guess isn't easy for some people otherwise there wouldn't be 911 calls about toaster ovens and bagels that have become the "LIT" brunch centerpiece, or ruined first dates of medium rare chicken... the latter is just stupidity.
I think it is also important to know what's in food and hopefully be able to pronounce it (ahem stearoyl latcalyte) which is in poptarts... I don't know what it does, but it probably gives it the shelf life of prehistoric bacteria.
