More on Side Affects May vary as the main character Alice finds out big shocker she's not going to die in the next five minutes. After all it would be a little harsh to kill off the main selling point this early on in the game. Who knows? The author may pull a John Green and kill her love interest Harvey or both of them. Huh, that really is a point worth noting, who is going to die this time. There obviously won't be a living character; that would make the author too predictable.
Anyways, The book is quite enjoyable. I think the plot is very interesting using the Then and Now chapter flip. The book is told in first person but flips between characters and time periods. It seems the author got a little bored with not making things confusing.
