Slow- like Molasses

Some say wallowing in one emotion, but as the great Brendon Urie says, "Being sad is better than being over it." I mean, it's all circumstantial. Some writes sit themselves in one sort of mood for the majority of their career. Edgar Allen Poe made a name for himself by filling his writing with macabre and morbid themes.

So I suppose that there can be too much of one thing or emotion. However, stewing inside one emotion may not be such a bad thing. It may allow for reflection and it the experience is not positive maybe some thoughtful down time is helpful. Being overly critical of oneself and situations (not to be cynical) can have major downsides and is not part of my point. I just think that pondering over a decision isn't always a bad thing. In a world that moves so fast- slowing down could benefit us more than we think.

Skill(s)Z i have learned surfing the inter webs for project research

One major skill i have learned through this project is picking up the pen again. i previously stopped drawing for two years after failing to make it into talented (lol i sucked back then not suprised). Besides that, during my paper i had to make my artifact which is six handmade, replicated drawings of roman sketches. i really enjoyed drawing from a new perspective.

drawing from the roman art allowed to me focus on line work and details along with learning the history behind it. The intricate yet simple drawings were fun to draw and the entire artifact took around five hours to completely out togehter.

Second SECOND post on research topic

so mobile mode won't let me do what i can on a laptop. i apologize for all the awful capitalization and  ecetera, and i know no excuse in the world will bring me sympathy even though i can't help the wifi- here's is the second SECOND blog. i forgot what part of the research were supposed to be writing on and i can't find it so i will write about the significance of my topic.

To anyone else my topic is useless. A good majority of this topic is useless to me. WILD right? why have to invest your time upon something that is useless... i do that every day... However insignificant it maybe it is interesting. However uninteresting this topic seems to you mirrors the thoughts i have at anyone's opinion because i have already put this project into place.

My topic has significance because without training humans are trained to find things pleasing to the eye. I felt like studying one of the origins of a classic look and feel in art was partial to me because i like art. i enjoyed the process of seeing the evolution of art although the rest i am not too sure about ....

week 3's blog redone because apparently i'm a flop

i would likw to warn readers of spelling and capitalization errors because i'm typing it from my phone because my wifi unexpectedly shut down at 10 pm. take off all the points you want, but in the meantime here's the blog.

I think one of the main values at the beginning of the book that is overlooked it the friendship between Rowdy and Junior. They have a very close bond and are almost what keeps the other going. I like the brotherhood and the mutual respect they have for each other even when it is not shown in a conventional way. Rowdy contrasts Junior because he is very short tempered and angry. He expresses his feelings physically and sometimes it has negative affects.

Junior has a passive and mellow quality about him that shows the fire in Rowdys personality. I think the mutual, unwritten agreement between the two emotionally will be elongated, destroyed, and maybe even forgotten completely as the book goes on.

Whatever This is

I enjoyed the book, but it felt very stereotypical. I thought it was going to be more unique and although it is; it still plays in the safe lane of books aimed at young adults. The book was very personable though; it felt like talking to an old friend and I enjoyed that aspect of it.

Overall the book was well written and can appeal to a broad spectrum of people. It's like a good hug or bowl of hot food. It was refreshing to read.

My project : Asking the Hamburger Joint if they Serve Hamburgers

I think something I've learned about during my project was the fundamentals of art and its origin. I really enjoy doing my project and creating my presentation. It's also fun to pick up drawing seriously again after two years of going into hibernation. It is frustrating to try and get back into my prime, but it's getting there. I'm not that great at art but this project is helping me learn how to create depth and make my line work more appealing and concise.

One thing I'm worried about is my presentation. I don't want it to be too boring to my classmates but I get really nervous and either stutter or go monotone. I think it will be ok I just want my topic to not put them to sleep, but hopefully the handmade element of my presentation will draw them in. Just to paint a picture of how nervous I get when speaking to people; I started my hamburger order with "hhh-hello.... **crickets**" *order boy rolls eyes* "what do you want" "...uh.. I suppose a hamburger" FANTASTIC - now just picture 10 minutes of that but to a group of people.
